In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Why do the decepticons want to destroy the earth's sun?

I understand they want the energy from it but they are billions of stars in the universe that are more powerful and would probably present less trouble to destroy. Also if it absolutely had to be the earth's sun, why not set up to destroy it from another planet other than earth such as Mars that would provide less resistance than earth? In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Why do the decepticons want to destroy the earth's sun?Since Sam and Mikaela are from Earth, having the Deceptacons be on another planet would effectively eliminate them from the movie. Also, ***SPOILERS*** moving that big Sun Exploding cannon in the pyramid would be too much trouble. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Why do the decepticons want to destroy the earth's sun?Well, i think i can shed some light. That machine harvests energon, and Earth is the most energon rich planet in the solar system, according to the transformers history, and they wouldn't want to waste a sun on a less energon-rich planet. I'm guessing that they were going galaxy by galaxy destroying suns until they got held up... that makes the most senseIn Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Why do the decepticons want to destroy the earth's sun?thye need energon to live though in transformers energon it can harm them if the touch it without a special machine.

so the harvester takes the suns energy and transfers it into already refined energon.

also other stars while bigger don't have the same energy that the sun has at least according to the Transformers timelines.
