Are you going to see Transformers 2 despite negative reviews?

The movie was released here on the 29th of June. I saw it on the 20th yesterday and on the net, there's lots of negative reviews slamming this movie. I, however, really enjoyed it.



Even if you:

-didn't like Transformers 1 (2007)

-you don't like Michael Bay

-have read many bad reviews

I watched it just yesterday and it was WAY better than the first one. Ignore the reviews. I would say that it was actually probably in my top 3 favorite movies. The guys that do the reviews mostly like the old fashion 80s movies. They would say movies from the 80s are great but for the most part the newer movies are bad to them. You see nothing but bad reviews for pretty much every movie. I saw lot of bad reviews of Darkknight but I loved that movie too. Personally, even if I do not like a director, I will still see a movie. The director means nothing to me.Are you going to see Transformers 2 despite negative reviews?

1) reviews don't mean anything. everyday people don't normally like "oscar winners", and critics usually hate movies me and you would like.

2) each person has their own taste/preference

i, of course am going to see it, because it's going to be awesome. the first one was awesome so i expect nothing less from this one. and michael bay is my fav director. i NEVER listen to reviews when i see movies. ever. most of the movies i like get bad reviews, while crap like 'the english patient' and 'slumdog millionaire' get raves and raves.

sorry but i go with my gut on movies and am very rarely disappointed. i'll watch the trailers and if i think ill like it, ill go. plain and simple.

reviews are for people who cant make up their minds for themselves.
I am definitely going to see RotF, more than twice. I love transformers and i think it'll be worth the moeny to go and see it because of Jolt, Sideways, Devatstator, Soundwave, Ravage and Jetfire. Always loved them... and i just have to put my faith in Transformers
