I am studing Islam and came accross this in my book. "When he was a teenager, on a trip to Syria with his uncle, Muhammad was noticed by a Christian monk who identified marks on his body indicating his status as a prophet (Fisher, 2005, 366)."
I know many people have hard feelings about the people of Islam but according to this a christian monk recognized Mohammad as a prophet so doesn't this hold some weight in the christian community? How do you feel about what my book says about Mohammad?
I am just curious to hear your thoughts.

There are many ways that Christianity and Islam are tied. Unfortunately most people in the world are too close-minded to open up and see this. They are so focused on themselves being right and everyone else in the world being wrong that they won't open their eyes to anything. It's very sad.
MoHamad is a great man
The Book of MoHamad say so
Who wrote the book of MoHamad
MoHamaad! How do you feel about this?
The remark in the book you're reading was obviously written by a Muslim and not taken from a Christian source. How do I know? Because neither Judaism, nor Messianic Judaism, nor Christianity believe that God places a visible mark on a prophet. There's not even one reference to that in the Bible.
Obviously, there are some off-base beliefs in this book, which doesn't surprise me. Islam has consistently misunderstood and purposefully twisted Judeo-Christian beliefs since the beginning. Take all comments you read about our beliefs in that book with a grain of salt. Better yet, don't read the book, since you now know it's infused with lies.
now did u know that islam was not suppose to be a religion separate from others but it was suppose to unite and complete them all. many things about religions r not said much about which makes them perfect toys for politicians to reach their goals. How do you feel about this?
i'm a Muslim and it's great knowing that ur studying Islam ;)
i would just like to advise u to read books written by Muslims (trusted ones!) cuz a lot of other books say wrong stuff about Islam...
another point, plz when u mention prophet Mohamed, say peace be upon him...thankyou
....GOOD LUCK......
P.S. try reading the Quran, i'm sure u'll be fascinated by it
I respect your question and what you are studying.I want to say good luck and that you are going to be blessed.
THAT MONK WAS PLANTED BY SATAN
I as an American don't have any hard feelings towards Islam it's the fanatics in any religion that mess it up for the devout followers of the ONE TRUE GOD
