What did you think of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen?

The special effects and CGI were awesome, but the story didn't fit well. Half the new robots are strangers with no introduction, and Sam has some kind of vision in the end??? What did you think?What did you think of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen?The storyline was like Swiss cheese when it comes to plot holes. Action-wise, it was incredible. I loved the fight scenes and the special effects, but really, the plot was stupid. A robot that can turn into people, are we doing Terminator now? And why didn't Sam just use the Cube piece to revive Optimus instead of having to find that crazy Matrix? It just seemed like they wanted to keep the series running and rake in some extra cash.



Also, there was blatant racism: Two robots that run like monkeys, have gold teeth, big ears, big lips, talk ghetto talk, and admit they can't read. Come on! Really?What did you think of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen?

After that though, wow I loved it.



I would say the last half of the movie really satisfied me...and that the film itself could've been better than the first, if they had gotten rid of the "black" autobots, fixed some of the cheesy lines and got rid of the corny romantic scenes.



I'd give it a 6.5/7 out of 10.
To be honest i didn't like this movie. This movie was overblown, with some dumber dialogue, a weaker story, louder sound FX, and less coherent than its predecessor. The action scenes are good, but they're nothing special and there's quite a few camera angles that director Michael Bay has used in previous films of his (more notably "Pearl Harbor" and "Armageddon"). The film also was a bit racially obscene (courtesy of two twin Autobots) and had an alarming amount of innuendo. Still holds up some entertainment value and the cast does a good job, especially LeBeouf in the scenes where he's rambling on and drawing the symbols. It seems that Michael Bay can't make a decent sequel, as "Bad Boys II" sucked.

but i didn't expect anything different no sequels are ever any good if you think about it

some of the best movies never had any sequels: the shawshank redemption, the deer hunter, The titanic, and the green mile

It all looked very real, and it was awesome in that way, but there were some gaping plot holes.

I liked it though!
i thought the story line was weak



the effects were way too much.. you couldn't tell what the heck was going on and who was fighting who



there were way too many inappropriate and unnecessary sexual joke scenes



and megan fox seemed more retarded than ever and more of a piece of meat then an actual character in the movie. also the girl robot looked just like her but blonde and also retarded.
