They seem to have a very high carbon footprint.
How about turning into something greener, like a rickshaw or a wheelie bin?Should Transformers do more for the environment?Little known fact.....Michael Bay actually did have this idea a few years back. He went in to Pennsylvania Dutch Country and began to film "Transformers-Amish Carriages of Fury". The concept was that the Amish carriages would turn into robots and they would decapitate anyone trying to bring technology into their land with a sickle.
A few accidents with Jehovahs witness's and the horses being scared sh!tless, forced Mr. Bay to stop filming only after 8 hours. He was sued by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Amish Coalition (emotional damages to the horses).Should Transformers do more for the environment?

They are introducing the Hybrid model this year, so that should help out a little.
They also have the solar powered versions, but unfortunately, all the bad guys know this and have planned all their attacks and evil deeds during night time hours, or during the rainy season.
LOL @ Sir Barth
They are in the process of a conversion over to greener vehicles such as the prius, fit, smart, yaris, etc. Marketing has been challenging however as this also makes them gay.
