Conservatives are huge fans of Transformers, Batman, Spiderman, etc
Liberals are huge fans of Titanic, The Notebook, and other crap like that.
Why?Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?Im conservative and I think transformers was crap. I only watched it because Shia Labeouf was in it. Where does this survey come from anyway?
And you must be in the closet about Titanic! You know you loved it, don't lie.Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?
I don't really know that it breaks down ideologically like you say it does, but just for the sake of argument, let's say it does. In Titanic there was clearly a class warfare element, with a rich selfish prick fighting with a working class hero over the love of a woman . (I can't speak for all liberals, but I don't regard class warfare as some sort of dirty word. It's simply a fact of life. I don't lament it. I just hope my class wins.)
The superhero movies probably tap into a worldview that conservatives have of heroic individuals fighting against evildoers which explains a lot of their worldview on foreign policy and crime and punishment issues. Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?I'm a liberal and I like spiderman. I didn't like transformers but my husband did. I guess if your hypothesis carries any truth it would be that Republicans are less evolved and love to see things get smashed up, they are linear thinkers and are easily amused by overblown graphics geared toward the teenage set.
Liberals in Netherlands have no place in our Constitution by reason of their wealth and common interest in feudal politics. It only serves our Insight in the mind of an Industrial and their interest to destroy our Earth.
Titanic you made my day. Transformer need an outlet to come onto the scene. I would not mind a car of my own as a bumblebee perhaps. I have no licence you see. Besides would it not make a wonderful entrance for a Royal Lady of Web?Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?I think you're generalizing too much. I'm extremely conservative but I like Titanic. Chick-flicks, not so much, but some are funny and not too corny, so it depends. I do love Transformers with a passion. Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?
I'm a Conservative woman :
- Disliked Transformers ... liked some of it
- HATED Transformers 2
- LOVED Spiderman
- Liked Batman
- Liked Titanic
- Liked Notebook
Hmm.. I guess it's because the titanic is too long of a movie and more story based.
Transformers has more explosions and action scenes for the common republican. lol.Why are Liberals such huge fans of Titanic whereas conservatives are huge fans of Transformers?
HAHAHA
Liberals =/= women, conservatives =/= men
Liberals like to watch things sink, like the economy.
Conservatives like heroes coming to the rescue.
That`s because cons are still being childish in their political aspirations while Liberals are taking chances on new challenges knowing that failures could happen, but giving up is not an option. Hope this helps! Cheers!
I admit I *like* the Titanic movie, it doesn't mean I am a FAN.
My favorites are Transformers, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Watchmen.
PS: I'm liberal. :0)
Titanic is a disaster story and Transformers is about shape shifters, what could be more appropriate ?
Are you confusing liberals and conservatives with girls and boys?
cause transformers are cool and titanic for girlymen and liberals are gay wich means there girly men
what the hell
The Titanic was real... Transformers are a CGI cartoon.
I think that you are generalizing far too much for a serious answer to this question
libs instinctively cling to sinking ships, cons stick with azz-kickers and winners.
In yank terms I woulkd be a'liberal' andI like female mud wrestling and books about tanks.
Maybe it's because we prefer movies with substance.
