Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?

It's great advertisement for GM. what is the relationship between the movie and GM?Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?GM paid the producers of the movie serious dollars to get the "product placement". There'll be a lot of cross-promoting. The practice is more common then you think. For instance, ever notice the Soprano family always drinks Tropicana ornage juice? It's no accident. Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?
Er, they paid for some of the production costs? This happens in movies quite often, to get exposure. Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?I'm sure they have a connection and the producers got paid by GM to put them in there. Good observation! Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?
Oh, this happens all the time. It seems like about 9 out of ten movies I watch are like this, meaning only one car company is represented in the entire movie. I've seen movies with all Ford, movies with all Toyota, even some TV shows do car product placement (Hiro: Nissan Versa!). Usualy they pay to be represented. It's just more noticable in Transformers because some of the cars were characters in the movie. Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?Movies are frequently treated like 90 min. commercials by many companies. One of the most famous cases of this is Steven Spielberg's E.T. The script called for M%26amp;M's, but the company wouldn't permit their candies to be used in the movie. The second choice was Reeses Pieces. Reeses' became famous and stock prices went through the roof. Why are all the cars in Transformers from GM?
Not only is it a good movie but they used good cars. I'm sure GM helped produce the movie. Good advertisement
probably because GM gave them all the cars and was willing to pay the most. it's too bad they suck.
