In the movie transformers (2007) we see a fake pilot in the first Decepticons aircraft before it transforms and reveils that it's a robot. But this pilot is the same man as Michael O'Neill's character Tom Banacheck. Why?
I had seen this movie many times but didn't see it, my girlfriends saw it immediately during her first screening.Transformers movie: why is the "pilot" in the first Decepticons aircraft the same man as Tom Banacheck?The actors name is Brian Reece.
When the movie was first filming, Brian Reece was flying some of the Decepticon jets around and testing them. Michael Bay and his silly little mind noticed him and thought he had the perfect look for the hologram (on IMDB, the characters name is "Mustache Man". Yeah. 8D) that the Decepticons use. His trusty sidekick, Steven Spielberg agreed and the rest is history. He's not really actor, but he has had some small rolls.
This is NOT Michael O'Neill or anyone related to him. They just look A LOT alike. I agree. But they are not the same person.
