When sourcing a text book in APA and using pages 51, 56 and 81, how do you type that on the reference page?

How would you? Thanks! When sourcing a text book in APA and using pages 51, 56 and 81, how do you type that on the reference page?
If I understand correctly, APA doesn't care which page you retrieve information from for the reference list. If you directly quote an author, however, it should probably be done as an in-text citation with the format (Author's last name, year, p.#). Keep in mind that since you're using the APA format, you're likely writing an article or review that is scientific in nature and direct quotations are not common in scientific publications. There's no problems with it but make sure you don't overdo it.

Check the OWL from Purdue University; I find it tends to be fairly useful and up to date.

Hope that helps!
