Did Jetfire from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen die at the end of the movie?

Did Jetfire die when he combined with Optimus Prime or did Optimus Prime give his body parts back? Also what happened to Barricade and what became of the Autobots at the end?Did Jetfire from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen die at the end of the movie?Jetfire died. He gave up his parts and his spark to Optimus, so that he'd be able to beat The Fallen/Megatron. Since their sparks are what keep them alive it was basically an "I'm sacrificing myself, so you can win" sort of moment.



As far as the Autobots, and Barricade (was he even in this movie...thought he was taken out in the first one), and...everyone else...that's a great question. That last battle was basically a cluster **** of Transformers just going all out on each other. Honestly I think I'll have to watch the movie again to just make sure that I know what happened in those last 15 minutes or so. I can't tell which Autobots made it and which didn't because of all the explosions and destruction going on at the end, but it looked to me like Ironhide got caught in a big explosion...I can't be sure that camera was moving fast as hell, but c'mon...they're the good guys...you know most of the important ones will be okay, so I'm guessing Ironhide's just fine.

I just want people to recognize how badass Optimus was in this movie...first movie Optimus is getting his *** kicked by Megatron, and nearly gets killed...this time it takes Megatron and like what...4 other guys to take him down, and even then they had to be underhanded about it. Then Optimus takes down The Fallen in like...15 seconds, and nearly destroys Megatron at the same time. Yeah...I spent most of that movie with my jaw on the floor!Did Jetfire from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen die at the end of the movie?
He stayed dead he took his spark out. And Barricade was a no show and the autobots... well i guess wheelie is staying with mikaela and they still have N.E.S.T after all megatron,starscream, and soundwave didn't die. Thats the impression they give cause he is saying how he never did anything worth doing until now, and Optimus is still banged up until he gets Jetfires parts. They never explain what happens to any of the bots cause they don't care to tell us. Half of the Autobots get about 5 minutes of screen time anyway.
